The labour calendar governs working days and school days as well as days when no work is done. 

Each year, Spain has a certain number of national holidays that are shared by all the Autonomous Communities. In addition, the Communities can choose their Regional holidays and, in our case, the islands and their municipalities have their own local holidays. 

We remind you that on these days, shopping areas and centres, as well as public services, may suffer changes in their opening hours. In 2020, this is the list of holidays of the island of Tenerife, which includes both national and local holidays to the Virgin; being the following:
