Los Hervideros, is a corner in the south of Lanzarote that has been formed by the solidification of lava and the continuous erosive action of the sea, resulting in one of the most impressive spectacles that nature can offer in Lanzarote. A place where the waves when breaking create columns of water that seem to boil, hence its name. The result is a spectacular phenomenon worth seeing and to be seen in Lanzarote.

Believe it or not and although Los Hervideros has become an essential tourist attraction in Lanzarote it is one of the few must-see places in Lanzarote that are still TOTALLY FREE to visit, therefore they do not have any entrance fees to pay. That said, if you have no one to take you there are the following options:

  • Rent a car (If you do, we recommend you visit it, if you do not mind getting up early, do it first thing in the morning and enjoy the sunrise with the impressive force of nature. Otherwise, if you are one of those who stick to the sheets in the morning, enjoy a beautiful sunset and a beautiful sunset alone or with yours and capture a unique moment to show others.

Where is Los Hervideros?

Los Hervideros is located just 2 kilometers from Lago Verde (the green lagoon), or the also called Charco de los Clicos. In addition to the seafaring town on the Gulf, where they serve some of the most delicious fish.

 

How to get to or visit los Hervideros?

The road itself that takes you to Los Hervideros is a spectacle in itself and if you come from the south of Lanzarote (Playa Blanca or Yaiza) on the LZ-2 you must leave it at the detour that takes you to the Salinas del Janubio and take the LZ-703 that will take you directly to this beautiful corner.
