In short, the bus is a good option in case you only move between the places where the InterCity company operates at the most usual times. But if you need more freedom, getting to less known places at any time is perhaps not the best option.

Is it practical to take a taxi on Lanzarote?

As the distances on Lanzarote are not too long, it is very unlikely that the journeys will be too expensive.
