How to get to Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura is situated in the Atlantic Ocean in north of Africa, so the only means of transport available to reach the island of Fuerteventura is by boat or plane.
Travel between islands:
If you are on any other Canary Island, you have several options. Firstly, the ship of Armas and Fred Olsen, the last one being the fastest alternative. Especially if you are on the islands closest to Fuerteventura, such as Gran Canaria or Lanzarote, the ferry is recommended, although flying is also quite usual. On the other hand, for the other islands it is more advisable to get to Fuerteventura by plane, as otherwise the journey time will be very long. The most common airlines to travel by plane in the Canary Islands are CanaryFly and Binter.
